Banco de la Producción S.A. (Produbanco), established in 1979, is the third-largest bank in Ecuador. Since 2014, the bank has been part of the Promerica Group, which operates in nine countries of Central America, South America and the Caribbean. The bank has been an Oikocredit partner since 2018.

From its headquarters in Quito, Produbanco offers clients a wide range of channels, including internet and mobile banking, and a network of branches, extension windows and other service points in urban areas in 17 provinces of Ecuador (2018).

The bank focuses on four business segments: commercial banking, retail banking for consumers and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), private banking and, finally, transactional banking (credit and debit cards, cash management, online banking etc.).
