The coffee cooperative Cooperativa Agraria Ecológica Cafetalera de Lonya Grande (Cecafe), founded in 2006 with support from the Catholic Church and the Peruvian environmental programme INADE, is located in Lonya Grande, Amazonas. Cecafe has been an Oikocredit partner since 2018.

The cooperative has almost 600 members who cultivate 1,350 hectares of coffee plants. Cecafe's coffee is produced under the guidelines of several certifications, including organic and fair trade.

Cecafe also has its own farm which is used to test new varieties, drip irrigation and different types of dryer systems. Another objective of the farm is to show and teach new production systems to cooperative members.
