Established in 2000, Maxima Microfinance plc (Maxima) is a licensed microfinance institution (MFI) providing financial services to low-income households via a network of branch offices. Maxima offers individual, small and medium enterprise (SME), educational and group loans.
Maxima seeks to contribute to the economic and social development of rural Cambodia by making credit available to people neglected by commercial banks. Its products enable entrepreneurs to start or expand a business.
Oikocredit first partnered with Maxima in 2016.
