Cooperativa Magisterio Rural Tarija (CMRT) is a regulated savings and credit cooperative. CMRT supports low-income people and entrepreneurs in urban and rural areas of the department of Tarija.
CMRT is an experienced and regulated institution with over 35 years of experience. The MFI disburses micro and small individual loans to micro and small-scale entrepreneurs in the department of Tarija, where it runs a small but expanding network of branches. In 2015, CMRT had a portfolio of just over 2,500 clients.
Cooperativa Magisterio Rural Tarija has been an Oikocredit partner since 2016.
