Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Alianza del Valle (Alianza del Valle) is a regulated savings and credit cooperative established in 1970 in Valle de los Chillos, near Quito, in the province of Pichincha. It has a network of ten branches throughout Pichincha which offer loans, savings products and other financial services to public and private sector employees and to micro entrepreneurs in urban and rural areas.
Alianza del Valle has an active membership base of more than 100,000 members and more than 18,000 borrowers.
Despite the competition from local banks and cooperatives, Alianza del Valle enjoys a strong market position in Pichincha with high levels of efficiency.
Alianza del Valle has been an Oikocredit partner since 2014.
