Association SINISIGI is a Malian microfinance network that supports agricultural activities in the region of Kayes. It provides loans and savings products, and non-financial services such as training and capacity building initiatives.
The association is rooted in a microfinance programme in south-west Mali that started in 1991. It has since grown to cater to more than 30,000 members through a vast network of village-based branches or caisses.
Oikocredit and Sinisigi have been partners since 2009. Oikocredit remains committed to supporting Sinisigi's ongoing efforts to serve its members who are disadvantaged and excluded from the regular banking system.
