Asociación para el Desarrollo Integral de San Antonio Ilotenango
Financing rural development in disadvantaged areas in western Guatemala
Asociación para el Desarrollo Integral de San Antonio Ilotenango (ADISA) is a rural microfinance institution (MFI) offering its clients a wide range of microcredit products through individual loans and solidarity groups tailored to different sectors. The organization operates in San Antonio Ilotenango, where the head office is located, Santa Cruz El Quiché and other areas close by within the western region.
ADISA has a very strong base of rural clients in areas with high poverty levels. In order to maximize its social impact, the organization has adopted the Progress out of Poverty Index (PPI) and strives to increase women’s participation in solidarity groups and within the organization.
ADISA has also signed the Smart Campaign’s Client Protection Principles, which have been integrated into its code of ethics.
Asociación para el Desarrollo Integral de San Antonio Ilotenango has been an Oikocredit partner since 2009.
