Pudhuaaru Financial Services Pvt. Ltd (PFSL) is a microfinance institution (MFI) providing financial services in remote rural areas of Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Uttarakhand. People living in these remote areas contend with over-indebtedness, low incomes, a lack of financial services and a lack of assets.
PFSL shares client information with credit bureaus to prevent over-indebtedness and check their financial potential. PFSL uses Oikocredit’s financing to provide services to members in rural areas in Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Uttarakhand.
PFSL has been an Oikocredit partner since 2010.
